Favorite Fall Recipes
We're kicking off tailgating season with some off The Williams Team's #favorite fall recipes. With football, festivals, and (hopefully) some cooler weather on the horizon, we're cooking up our favorite treats that just scream fall. Enjoy!
Kristen & Carter - Football shaped Rice Crispy Treats
I love how festive football shaped Rice Crispy Treats are for watch parties. They're my go-to; I make them all the time, and Carter is more than happy to eat them. It doesn't get more fall than football-themed desserts!
Kacee - Sinful Brownies
Swimsuit season is nearing an end, so bring on the sweets! These sinfully good brownies are a crowd-pleaser for any occasion. If these brownies are wrong, I don't want to be right.
- 1 box of brownie or devils food cake mix
- 1 stick of butter
- 3 eggs
- Chocolate chips (to taste)
- 8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Chopped pecans (for topping)
- Preheat oven to 350*F
- Combine brownie or devils food cake mix, butter, and 1 egg until batter is wwell-mixed and thick
- Press batter into greased 9x13 pan
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of batter
- Combine cream cheese, 2 eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla until well-mixed
- Pour cream cheese over top of chocolate batter
- Sprinkle chopped pecans over top (optional)
- Bake at 350*F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top
- Cool & enjoy!
Emily - Sausage Balls
Emily's family makes these every Thanksgiving, and it's always a challenge to not fill up on them before the real feast. Whether you make these as an appetizer, graze on them throughout a football game, or enjoy them as the main course, these sausage balls will have you barking for more!
- 1 1/2 cups of Bisquick
- 2 packages of Jimmy Dean sausage
- 4 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 375*F
- Combine Bisquick, sausage, and cheese in a large bowl
- Roll mixture into 1 inch balls
- Place balls onto a baking sheet
- Bake for 18-20 mins or until golden brown
- Serve with toothpicks for easy eating!
Amy - Pumpkin Pie Overnight Oats
Nothing says fall quite like pumpkin, so what better way to kick off your morning than with pumpkin pie for breakfast? Overnight oats are Amy's favorite breakfast because you can make them for the whole week #mealprep, they're filling, tasty, and not to mention good for you!
- 1/2 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/3 cup of pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup of milk (sub non-dairy milk)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Pecans (optional topping)
- Put all of the ingredients (except for pecans) in a wide mouth pint mason jar
- Stir until well-mixed
- Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours (up to 4 days)
- Top with pecans before serving
